The newly-renovated venue features significant aesthetic and cosmetic improvements within the interior and exterior including the addition of fifteen plush party booths and upgrades to the club’s lighting and audio/visual effects.
General admission tickets to New Year’s Eve featuring Mary J Blige are $50 for women and $99 for men. Superstar Grand Opening at Marquee Las Vegas

It was a New Year’s Eve unlike any other the Las Vegas Strip has ever seen, as Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas celebrated its grand opening over the holiday weekend. DJ Erick Morillo kicked off New Year’s Eve with a set in Marquee’s Main Room and led the countdown to 2011, while Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre got the party started in the VIP Room with DJ Ross One
After private concerts by Jay-Z and Coldplay in the Event Center at The Cosmopolitan, celebrities made their way to Marquee for the opening. Twilight stud Kellan Lutz settled into a table next to Wilmer Valderrama. 50 Cent arrived with buddy Floyd Mayweather Jr. and hit the dance floor before heading downstairs to the VIP Room.
Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan, Haylie Duff and boyfriend Nick Zano, Christina Milian, Abigail Spencer Pruitt, James Marsden, Jamie Kennedy, Jessica Szohr, Deryck Whibley, Jeremy Piven and Mark Salling also were seen dancing in the Main Room.
Marquee, which is 60,000 square feet, was quickly at its capacity of nearly 3,000. The VIP Room, aka The Boom Box, was taken over by Jay-Z, Coldplay and their friends. Rihanna and Diddy came by to party with Jay-Z, Beyonce, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who all held court at a center table with views of The Strip.
Kanye West and John Mayer, who surprised the crowd with performances earlier in the night at The Cosmopolitan’s grand opening concert, were at the exclusive after-party, as were New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Cameron Diaz, Forest and Keisha Whitaker, Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham, Ellen Pompeo, Kirsten Dunst, Kings of Leon’s Jared Followill, Kelly Slater, Olivia Munn, Whitney Port and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
